Getting started
- Open a Google Sheet and go to Extensions → HookSheet → Open HookSheet.
- Turn on the Apps Script API (the sidebar links to the switch), then click Create receiver.
- Reload the sheet, then use the new menu HookSheet receiver → Authorize receiver once.
- In the Webhooks tab, add a webhook, copy its address and paste it into the app that sends data. Click Send test to try it.
Common questions
"The Apps Script API is still off". Turn it on at script.google.com/home/usersettings, wait a minute, then click Create receiver again.
Google says the receiver is an "unverified app". The receiver is a script in your own account, created for you. Click Advanced → Go to HookSheet receiver to authorize it. You can see its code under Extensions → Apps Script.
My sender says it got a redirect (302). Google web apps answer with a redirect, but the data is already saved. Check the Log tab. If your sender has a "follow redirects" option, turn it on.
Requests are rejected with "Wrong or missing token". Use the full address from the Copy button. It includes &token=….
Nested data. Nested fields become columns like customer.email. Lists of values are joined with commas; lists of records become one row each, or use Pro's "one row per list item".
How do I activate Pro? After buying, copy the license key from your Gumroad receipt and paste it into Account → Activate in the sidebar.
How do I cancel or get a refund? Cancel anytime from your Gumroad library. For a refund within 14 days, email us.
